Failure causes

1. The work roller flat head and universal joint flat head hole clearance are too large, resulting in a flat head hole in the axial direction on the work roller with no binding force, the shaft rotation process produces axial force, resulting in motor rotation instability.

2. Angle between the work rolls or support roles, resulting in the relative twisting of the two rolls bearing seat, uneven force, resulting in large axial force, rolling process, universal joint with the rolls swing phenomenon, or resulting in the cross universal joint shaft bearing force damage.

3. The mill roll system balance system or shaft balance system failure, resulting in unstable shaft rotation, a larger shaking.

4. Main motor lubrication system failure, split bearing failure, cross universal joint bearing failure will also lead to unstable rotation of the joint shaft, periodic oscillation phenomenon.

 

Solution

Although there is a certain gap between the work roller flat head and cross universal joint flat head hole design, but the gap value is small, the relative displacement of the two is also small, the basic operation of the joint shaft in the process can not be seen.

But when the wear between the flathead and flat head hole increases, the gap increases, there will be a larger relative movement between the two, the joint shaft rotation process will not be consistent with the centerline of the roll, thus producing a certain angle, because the rolls are fixed in the pagoda, which leads to the joint shaft in the process of rotation of the periodic wobble.
