GRANULARS
COMPOUND FERTILIZERS (BINARY, TERNARY AND TERNARY B.T.C.) OBTAINED BY PHYSICAL COMPACTION
The K-FERT COMPLESSI LINE includes a wide range of granular mineral fertilizers characterized by the presence of two (BINARY COMPLEXES) or three (TERNARY COMPLEXES) macroelements (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium), most of which enriched with sulfur (as sulfuric anhydride, SO3), considered the fourth most important nutritive element due to its role in plant nutrition.
The granular formulation of these products is obtained through compaction, a dry granulation process borrowed from the pharmaceutical industry that uses mechanical compression to agglomerate the particles of the raw materials. This allows for granules to be obtained without adding solvents, which can have a negative impact on the final solubility of the product. The compacted granules rapidly dissolve in the ground allowing a fast nutrients' root uptake, making these fertilizers very efficacious. Low Chlorine Content (LCC/BTC) formulations are also available that couple all the advantages of the NPKs with the quality of Low-Chlorine Potassium (< 2%), which is the best quality of potassium.
NPK 11-22-16 B.T.C is a TERNARY NPK B.T.C. COMPLEX of the K-FERT COMPLESSI LINE, particularly suitable for chlorine sensitive crops. Its macroelements (NPK) ratio shifted towards phosphorus and potassium makes it suitable for applications on all crops at the beginning of vegetative development, when the plant requires high amounts of phosphorus to promote the growth of the root system. It can also be used at pre-flowering and post-fruit setting, to increase flower fertilization and improve fruit development.
